Peter Stevenson is a Director of SGN Financial and the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Signate Private Wealth, having built a long and respected career in financial services. Peter is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia, and a Member and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). He brings together deep technical expertise, strong governance credentials, and a disciplined, client focused leadership approach.
Peter has worked in financial services throughout his entire career, including time with Westpac Bank, before establishing his own private financial planning practice in 2006. Over many years, he advised individuals and families across all stages of life, helping them navigate complex financial decisions with confidence and clarity.
While Peter is no longer advising clients on a full time basis, his role today is focused on leading the firm, setting its strategic direction, and ensuring the highest standards of advice are delivered across the business. He remains deeply committed to a holistic, client centred advice philosophy and is closely involved in shaping advice frameworks, mentoring advisers, and maintaining a strong culture of professionalism and client care.
